Our History

Richard Davi began his journey in the jewelry business in 1973 with his first store at the Republic Flea Market in Farmingdale, NY. In 1989, he expanded with a new location in Lindenhurst and in 1999 purchased a historic 1931 building that soon became the home of Center Gold Jewelers.

Continuing the family legacy, his daughter Joann joined the business and helped grow the brand and its loyal clientele. Today, the family proudly operates five full-service jewelry stores. We specialize in buying and selling gold, silver, platinum, certified diamonds, rare coins, fine watches, and custom luxury jewelry. With exceptional inventory and a knowledgeable team, we aim to be your trusted jeweler for generations to come. My father has always been my role model. His honesty, integrity, and strong work ethic inspired me to follow in his footsteps and join the family jewelry business. Over the past 15 years, we have built on the foundation he established at Center Gold in Centereach, expanding to five full-service jewelry stores serving customers throughout Suffolk County, from East Islip to Riverhead and beyond.
